What we collect

Idle Britain is a client-side browser game. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The game runs entirely in your browser.

Local storage

Your game save is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key idle-britain-save. This data never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data will delete your save. You can export/import saves manually via the in-game controls.

Analytics

We use privacy-focused, anonymous analytics to understand how the game is played (e.g. how many players reach prestige). No cookies are set for tracking purposes. No personally identifiable information is collected. Analytics data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to individual users.

Cookies

Idle Britain does not use cookies. Your theme preference (light/dark mode) is stored in localStorage alongside your save data.

Third-party services

The game loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google's privacy policy applies to that request. No other third-party services process your data.

Children

Idle Britain is a general-audience satirical game. We do not knowingly collect data from children because we do not collect data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
